“Las Flores de Juchitán” translates into The Juchitan Flowers. This beautiful scarf from the famous fashion house Pineda Covalin accentuates the flowers in the Tehuana’s dresses and silk embroidered daisies. 

What I love about it is that the details on the flowers give us the sense that they are in 3D. The rich Mexican culture is portrayed in a “contemporary and avant-guardiste manner that takes us back to the past where we can admire the mythology, science, rituals and customs of people that keep themselves alive through their art..”
