Newport beach– It’s not quite the first day of Fall here. The city has been seeing some heat wave warnings so enjoy your very warm and sunny weekend.

Here are some of my favorite trends for this season.

1. THE WRAP COAT
   

This fall is all about oversized silhouettes and puff pieces. The robe coat is one of the IT pieces this season with large sleeves and big collars. I find it very versatile and easy to wear.

Plaid is a favorite of mine and I love how it can be expressed in so many different ways with either big or small-scale prints, dressy or casual.

This is a versatile classic, it’s been here for a while and is still a wardrobe must-have.

Whether it’s a simple black thread choker or an elegant gold neck-statement piece, always channel your inner Cleopatra.

Leggings are back in trend but this time with a little more than your usual plain jane. The lace-up trend that you’ve seen this summer is now giving leggings a unique spin.
