It’s always interesting to make it to H&M‘s yearly collaboration with international designers and style icons. This year’s HmxBalmain had everyone preparing their wishlist ever since the collection hit the runway. Olivier Rousteing had announced the following on the Red Carpet before the launch: “All the elements that makeup the powerful Balmain silhouette are in the collection..”.

My ootd is the silk striped black and white shirt from the HmxBalmain. I absolutely love the statement buttons on this shirt. I dressed it down with Phillip Lim lounge pants with silk embellished detailing all along the sides. Using a two-tone gold and silver mix, I accessorized the outfit with those lovely Prada glitter loafers and a Miu Miu matelasse quilting adorned clutch/shoulder bag.
